What we found is that often times, clinicians have a very difficult time submitting a work order. Whether it is 10 different phone numbers to call depending on the issue, or not knowing where to go at all. With this in mind, Nuvolo simplified the repair-request process. In the Nuvolo application, each user can track the status of any work order that were submitted and you can view common questions/FAQS.
Nuvolo makes submitting work orders an easy process. To fill out a work order form, all you have to do is type in the asset tag name. This can be done using any unique identifiers of an asset. Using RTLS and RFID connected devices, the location will automatically populate once the asset tag name has been entered. On the other side of the report, you can view any active work orders against this asset to reduce duplicate requests and to save employees time.
Sometimes as a clinician, it is difficult to tell which asset tag is up to date or perhaps there are multiple asset tags on a device due to mergers and acquisitions. In this case, clinicians have the option to submit a work order based on their location in the hospital. Just simply enter your location in the search bar and a floor map of the hospital appears, this is an integration Nuvolo can provide. Once there, you zoom in on your particular location to select the space where the broken device is. At this point, you are presented with a simple form where all you need to do is type in a short summary of the broken device. Once submitted, a green dot appears on the floor map in the space where the device is located. From a technicians perspective, as he goes to service this device he knows exactly where it is located, saving him time.
